You don’t need to be a mathematician to appreciate Michael Anastassiades’s latest collection — but it might help. Criss-crossing strip lights form these stunning reinterpretations of a classic Cartesian coordinate system. Already a demonstration of the simple beauty of analytic geometry, each composition is made even more elegant by its finishes in anodized champagne and opal-white platinum (for the silicone diffuser). The standard collection presents four different chandelier styles, plus a floor lamp composed of two vertical lighting bars. Custom installations allow for even more complex configurations, proving the endless applications of this sophisticated formula.
