The hybrid work–party space of a brand offering invitation-only “expeditions and adventures” reflects the playful sensibility of its membership — thanks to ONO’s creative adaptive re-use of a former warehouse. Within a 185-square-metre volume against one wall, Crane Cove’s pod-like shared workspace offers diverse colour and texture in its plush 1970s-style seating, pale wood millwork and marble and terrazzo surfaces. Down a flight of terracotta-painted stairs and behind a hidden door, a one-square-metre “seclusion room” creates a different sensory atmosphere with a wall-to-wall Paulin Paulin Paulin sofa, an immersive audiovisual setup and a large recessed LED “oculus” feature.
