Oak walls and ceilings, wool carpets and swathes of marble: The calming textures and colours of natural materials permeate this apartment for a family of four. The sun filters in through translucent linen curtains, drawing out subtle colours in the slatted and planked wood surfaces, and gives the living areas a hazy, dreamlike feel. Darker tones come courtesy of mid-century wooden furnishings by Hans Wegner and Gio Ponti, which complement the owners’ collection of contemporary Brazilian art.
