Designed by Kvadrat’s Dienke Dekker and handwoven entirely from Lyocell (a regenerated cellulose fibre as soft as silk yet built for lasting beauty), the six-piece Loux rug collection offers three distinct pile qualities: Loux, a smooth cut pile that reflects light with timeless refinement; Loux Line, a cut-and-loop construction that breaks colour into delicate rhythmic rows; and Loux Level, a hand-carved checkerboard relief of repeated 10-centimetre-square tiles. Twelve colours inspired by precious metals and stones complete the series, their depth revealed through soumak-technique construction and hand-tied knotting that honours a centuries-old craft heritage.
