Looking out over a field of sunflowers. Lying on the grass and gazing up at a canopy of trees. Hiking through a desert canyon. These are a few of the awe-inspiring moments in nature which designer Christiane Müller attempted to recreate in this collection of indoor–outdoor fabrics. Müller worked closely with HBF Textiles and the weaving mill to realize her vision, utilizing a painstaking double-loom process and yarns of different widths to lend a hand-loom feel and mimic the multi-dimensional surfaces of meadows, trees and moss-covered rocks. Her three unique textile families (Fields of Velvet, Trails of Tweed and Seeds of Colour) deftly integrate the complexity, colour and texture of nature.
