Welcome to experimental living pushed to the max. Mirrored walls, a live-edged sandstone archway and a curving wall of green glazed ceramic tiles transform this 80-square-metre apartment into a dynamic and joyful family living space. In contrast to their former layout of small, compartmentalized rooms, the living areas now flow into one another with the help of multi-purpose furniture pieces, including an elevatable amalgam of coffee table, dining table and kitchen island with a top made from reclaimed granite. Contrasts of colour and texture enliven the space, from the red handles on the mirrored walls (cabinetry and kitchen appliances are concealed within) to the raw concrete and green-painted steel of the structural columns and beams.
