When global marketing group The Independents tasked Linehouse with reimagining their ground floor, a former art gallery with soaring ceilings, the brief was clear: not an office, but a destination. Linehouse answered the call with the Unexpected Collection, a series of abstract spatial settings and custom furniture pieces assembled like a curated exhibition. Suspended metal curtains shift to reconfigure a circular seating installation for events and monthly rotating art. Marine plywood steps up and down through a sunken workspace, anchored by eclectic blue, yellow and green upholstered seating. In the meeting room, a gradient glass table shifts from opaque black to full transparency; another table is a patchwork of contrasting timber veneers. Art breathes here; so does collaboration.
